Bangla Novels for mobile and Bangla eBooks for mobile

Once upon a time we used to regret for there were no complete Bangla Dictionary for mobile but now we got that (search this site by “e2bdictionary” keyword to download two English to Bangla dictionary for noble). But human needs are never ending. There are almost every great books written in another languages (especiall English) are availabe for mobile BUT Bangladesh lags behind everyone. Now people want to do everything by mobile and computer seems like “a giant sitting on the table”, even the laptops are too big – but mobiles are tiny and also cheap. Most important of all you can use your mobile anywhere – even in your bathroom. You can read any daily newspaper on your mobile through GPRS or EDGE internet or WAP connection (if you have internet or WAP enable mobile phone).

The grief of not having Bangla books available for mobile came to an end now (though there are not too many books and very few but we can say, “at least we have now” ):

Currently there are only four Bangla novels available for JAVA (J2ME) enabled mobiles. They are :

1. “Maa” by Anisul Haque
2. “Devdas” by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay
3. “Bamuner Maya” by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay
4. “Boro Didi” by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay

The creator (not author) of these mobile bangla books is Waliul Islam (a person who don’t keep his words but can creat great bangla mobile softwarers.) So, let’s thank him and pray for his well being.

Your mobile don’t need to be Bangla supported. You can read bangla in these mobile eBooks. These book are written in JAVA (J2ME – a programming language targeted for mobile devices and some other small device). So, to read these eBooks on your mobile your mobile phone must be java supported. To know whether your mobile is java supported or not you can ask below by leaving your precious comment. Or you can see a list of java supported mobiles that I have uploaded and you can get that post by searching this site with these keywords – ‘list of java supported mobiles’. All the mobile listed in the list does not support these Bangla Novels. So, to be confirmed you better ask me or others by commenting below.
